The National Policy Alliance (NPA) presents the 2023 Annual Conference: “The Future of Black America Where do We Go from Here?” Join National, State, and Local legislators, government officials, labor, professionals, advocates, and future leaders from around the country who will gather to discuss and develop public policy impacting the Future of Black America. The conference will be held on September 21-22 in Washington, DC.
Although the COVID Pandemic and the January 6 insurrection are behind us, we still have much work to do. Institutional systemic racism, disparities, injustices, and the economic inequality and equity continue to divide us in the United States of America. Currently, gun violence and mass shootings are plaguing our county. Where do we go from here? We will discuss the future with subject matter experts, advocates, community leaders and panelists. We will begin our series of discussions with a Roundtable discussion on the Future of Black America, changing the narrative and redefining the future. We will unveil our Medgar Evers Fairness and Equity Project along with panel discussions on AI and the future, The business of Cannabis, Mental Health, Health Disparities, Homeless Veterans, Mental Health and Environmental Justice to name a few topics.
